Four more people were sentenced today for taking part in violent disorder in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough on 31st July and 4th August this year.
John Barton appeared at Teesside Crown Court today (Monday 2nd September) where he was sentenced to 27 months (two years and three months) for his part in the violent disorder in Hartlepool on 31st July.
The 33-year-old joined over two hundred other people in violent disorder in the town where he threw bricks at officers.

Natalie Wood appeared at Teesside Crown Court today where she was sentenced to 27 months (two years and three months) for her part in the violent disorder in Hartlepool on 31st July.
39-year-old Wood, from Hartlepool, was caught on CCTV throwing bottles at officers.

Dylan Willis, from Hartlepool, was given 14 months in a Youth Detention Centre for smashing a restaurant window during violent disorder in Middlesbrough on 4th August.
The 18-year-old later handed himself into police.

Bradley Playford, 24, was sentenced to eight months for smashing a restaurant window and burglary during the violent disorder in Middlesbrough on 4th August.
