Response officers have made an arrest after reports that a man was trying car doors on Sandown Park, Redcar, at around 7.15am this morning (Sunday 29th September).
On arrival at the scene, officers located a man in the area who was in possession of suspected stolen items including car keys, garage keys, and money.
The 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference and going equipped to steal. He currently remains in police custody.
