The men, aged 36 and 38, were stopped in the Grove Hill area of Middlesbrough on Friday 13 September.
Following a search, officers arrested the younger man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and money laundering. The second man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
They were questioned in custody and subsequently charged to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court.
The charges relate to two men stopped by officers from Middlesbrough’s proactive team who executed a search and seized a quantity of crack cocaine and approximately £6,000 in cash.
