The 19-year-old was arrested on Tuesday 7 May after being stopped while travelling in a vehicle.
He was questioned and released on bail while enquiries were ongoing and was subsequently charged on Friday 30 August with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, concerned in the supply of class A drugs, dangerous driving and driving while disqualified and with no insurance.
He was remanded in custody and appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Saturday 31 August.
Following a further remand, the teenager’s next court appearance will be at Teesside Crown Court on Monday 30 September.
The charges relate to an investigation into a suspected drug dealing line of two mobile phones used to facilitate the supply of class A drugs in Stockton.
