The pair, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on Hartburn Avenue in the early hours of Wednesday 25 September.
Following questioning in custody they were charged with vehicle interference. They have been released on conditional bail until their appearance at Teesside Magistrates Court on Wednesday 30 October.
The charges relate to reports of two males believed to be attempting to gain access to vehicles on Hartburn Avenue.
