Police are asking members of the public to report suspicious activity after three males were reported to have been trying car door handles and looking around vehicles in the Salcombe Way area of Redcar.
The men were believed to have been in the area between 2am and 2:40am on Friday 13th September.
They are described as being aged in their early to mid-twenties, wearing dark clothing, two are white male and one was wearing a balaclava. All are believed to be 5ft 6” to 5ft 8” tall.
Officers would ask anyone to report suspicious activity by calling Cleveland Police on 101, and also call to report any information regarding these males, quoting reference number 176397.
