Cleveland Police officers searching for a missing 50-year-old woman from Middlesbrough have sadly located a body.
While formal identification is yet to take place, the family of Angela Simpson who was reported missing on Sunday 22 September, has been informed. They are being supported by specialist officers.
The death is not being treated a suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Officers would like to thank members of the public for sharing the appeal and reporting information.
