Appeal after butcher’s shop is broken into and charity boxes are stolen in Hartlepool.

We’re appealing for information or footage to help enquiries into a break-in at Lee Meats on Chatham Road, Hartlepool.

It happened some time between Sunday morning and this morning (Tuesday 22^nd April) when the suspect/s accessed the roof and broke into the property, stealing money from a number of charity boxes positioned in the store.

Anyone with information or doorbell, dash cam or private CCTV footage which could help is urged to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref 070898.
