Investigation into “suspicious incident” in Thornaby concludes.

On 14^th April we issued an appeal for information on the identity of a woman we wanted to speak to regarding a report of a suspicious incident involving an allegation of an assault on a child in Thornaby.

We had received a report that around 2.30pm on Wednesday 2^nd April, a woman followed the child from the town centre to a private address.

We would like to thank all those who shared our appeal and provided information.

All available lines of enquiry have now concluded, and the investigation will therefore be closed pending receipt of any new information.
