The arrests took place throughout January involving officers from the neighbourhood policing team and proactive team.
It comes as police further increase their patrols both on foot and in vehicles as well as a rise in intelligence and evidence to target serious violence, organised crime and anti-social behaviour.
Most of the arrests were related to possession with intent to supply class A drugs, theft, burglary, robbery and possession of drugs.
Officers have also targeted individuals who are known to repeatedly offend as well as pursuing people wanted on warrants by the courts in connection with a variety of crimes such as breaching their bail conditions.
Of the 100 people arrested, six were recalled to prison, 11 charged and remanded, 33 placed before the courts due to being wanted and 37 are on conditional bail or released under investigation while enquiries into the crimes continue.
This year’s arrests are an increase in comparison to January 2024, where officers arrested 67 individuals.
Chief Inspector Andy Evans, from Stockton’s neighbourhood policing team, said: “We have started the year with a bang, and this is only the beginning of what is to come.
“The determination and drive from all officers is leading to these huge results and I can’t wait for the local community to see what positive impact this is going to have.
“We are also working closely with our partners from Stockton Borough Council who are key in helping to identify and locate individuals wanted in connection with numerous crimes.
“I hope residents are reassured by our proactive and robust activity, we are doing this not only to pursue criminals but to help make the whole of Stockton an even safer place for people to live, work and visit.”
