Police are appealing for the driver of a black Land Rover Freelander vehicle to come forward after they failed to stop for police.
Officers witnessed the vehicle reportedly driving dangerously near to Allensway in Thornaby on Sunday 2nd February at around 1am.
The vehicle was later located and seized (for having no insurance) on Whitley Road in Thornaby, but the driver had left the scene prior to police arrival.
Police are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to come forward to assist officers with their enquiries. Anyone who has information regarding the driver of the car is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 019140.
