Levels of reported antisocial behaviour (ASB) in the Guisborough ward are almost half of what they were three months ago.
Between October 2024 and December 2024, the number of reported incidents continued to decline and when we compare October 2024 to last month, (January 2025), there is a 43% drop.
These incidents include offences such as nuisance vehicles, off-road bikes, youth ASB, vehicle crime and other night-time economy offences.
Our Neighbourhood Police Team (NPT) will continue to be visible in the community to deter those intent on committing crime and reassure the public.
Inspector Neil Deluce from Redcar and East Cleveland NPT said: “We know the huge impact ASB and associated crime has on the lives of residents and we are committed to cracking down on it to make our communities better places to live.
“While these figures show we’re heading in the right direction, we know there’s still a lot of work to do and we’re determined to work with our partners to continue the positive steps we’ve taken so far.”
