A man has been arrested after a 12-year-old girl was injured following a fail to stop collision in Stockton.
The collision happened around 2.55pm on Tuesday 28th January 2025 on Fairfield Road. The girl was taken to hospital where she received treatment for her injuries.
A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after a road accident, causing serious injury by careless driving, failing to report an accident and committing an act with intent to pervert the course of justice. He has now been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
Officers continue to appeal for anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 016115.
