A 20-year-old man has been charged after he reportedly made off from Middlesbrough Proactive Team officers on Rockliffe Road yesterday, Tuesday 11th February.
The officers recovered suspected class A drugs believed to be worth around £12,600 from the male and a subsequent search of a property led to the recovery of £25,000 in cash and weapons including zombie knives, knuckle dusters and incapacitant spray were also seized.
The man was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of criminal property, six counts of possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a firearm, possession of class B drugs and assaulting an emergency worker. He was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 12th February.
