The below electrically assisted pedal cycle was seized by police and a man was found in possession of cannabis after Middlesbrough Proactive Team officers spotted two males on the bike near Morrisons in Berwick Hill on Thursday 6th February.
Officers attempted to stop the bike, but it was abandoned and the riders tried to make off from police.
A 21-year-old man was detained nearby and was found in possession of cannabis. He was reported for summons in relation to this.
Due to the bike not complying with regulations in relation to electrically assisted pedal bikes, it was seized by officers (pictured below).
