A 28-year-old man who’d been dealt with for assaulting a female police officer has been jailed after assaulting another officer.
Mohammed Marboosh received a 20-week suspended sentence on 30th January for punching the woman off her feet and biting her on the leg as she was arresting him for a public order offence.
The second attack happened just over two weeks later on 16th February when Marboosh bit a male officer's hand as he was being arrested for an unrelated offence.
Marboosh appeared at court on Tuesday this week with Cleveland Police submitting a request that he be remanded and he has now been imprisoned for 32 weeks.
