While officers, from the neighbourhood policing team, were conducting patrols on Monday 17 February when they spotted the motorbike in Park End.
Following checks, it was found to be uninsured and was subsequently seized.
Officers will continue to be on the lookout for motorbikes and vehicles that are uninsured or being used without a licence. This can lead to the bike being seized and the rider's facing prosecution.
