Whilst on patrol on Saturday 15th February, officers from Redcar’s Proactive Team spotted a suspected stolen vehicle in Redcar.
A 39-year-old man was quickly arrested at the scene on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
After carrying out more enquiries, officers located and recovered a moped, a small red motorbike and two mountain bikes which are also thought to be stolen.
Officers are now trying to trace the owners of suspected stolen bikes. Anyone who thinks that they may belong to them is asked to call 101, quoting reference number 018635.
