Officers from the Matrix Disruption Team attended an address on Bevanlee Road in South Bank today, Thursday 27th February, and seized large amounts of suspected drugs, cash and weapons.
At the address, police found large amounts of suspected cannabis and suspected cocaine, around £15k-£20k in cash, an air rifle, a pistol, an electric Surron bike and drugs paraphernalia. There was also thousands of pounds worth of jewellery and 19 pairs of Nike TN trainers seized.
A 47-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property. Both remain in police custody.
