Suspected Drugs, Cash and Weapons Seized in South Bank

Officers from the Matrix Disruption Team attended an address on Bevanlee Road in South Bank today, Thursday 27^th February, and seized large amounts of suspected drugs, cash and weapons.  

At the address, police found large amounts of suspected cannabis and suspected cocaine, around £15k-£20k in cash, an air rifle, a pistol, an electric Surron bike and drugs paraphernalia. There was also thousands of pounds worth of jewellery and 19 pairs of Nike TN trainers seized. 

A 47-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property. Both remain in police custody.
