A third arrest has been made in connection with an incident in Redcar which took place on Saturday night (15th February 2025).
The incident happened in Peggy Junes Bar on Queen Street just after 8pm on Saturday, when a violent altercation took place in the bar, resulting in three people being taken to hospital with serious, but not believed to be life-threatening, injuries.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and he remains in police custody at this time.
A 33-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman arrested in connection with the incident also remain in police custody.
