Three people have been charged following a reported incident in Redcar on Saturday night (15th February 2025).
The incident happened in Peggy Junes Bar on Queen Street just after 8pm on Saturday, when a violent altercation was reported to have taken place in the bar, resulting in three people being taken to hospital with serious, but not believed to be life-threatening, injuries.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary, two counts of criminal damage, assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm and affray.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with assisting an offender.
A 36-year-old woman has been charged with assisting an offender, possession of a blade in a public place and assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.
All are due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 18th February).
