Around 4:15pm on Thursday 6th February, Middlesbrough Proactive Team officers patrolling in the Pallister Park area spotted a suspected drug deal on Premier Road by the occupants of a vehicle.
The car was stopped nearby and a search was carried out of the vehicle and both occupants.
Officers recovered a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, cash and phones.
A 28-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were arrested in connection with class A drugs offences and the man was also arrested on suspicion of driving with no licence.
The vehicle was seized for having no insurance.
Both have been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
