Untaxed car on false number plates removed from our roads.

Last night at around 9.40pm our officers attended a report of a broken down and unoccupied vehicle which was partially blocking a live lane on the A689 near the Hardwick Hall roundabout.

Investigations revealed the silver Vauxhall Corsa was on false plates and it was also untaxed therefore it was seized. 

Enquiries are ongoing and we'd ask anyone with information about the vehicle to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 034919.
