Following our appeal earlier today, we can confirm that a 33-year-old man have now been arrested in connection with the incident in Redcar which happened on Saturday night.
The incident happened in Peggy Junes Bar on Queen Street just after 8pm on Saturday 15 February 2025, when a violent altercation took place in the bar, resulting in three people being taken to hospital with serious, but not believed to be life-threatening, injuries.
A 36-year-old woman has also been arrested in connection with the incident.
Enquiries remain ongoing to locate and arrest two other men believed to be involved in the incident.
Anyone who was in Peggy Junes around the time of the incident and has not yet come forward to speak to police, is urged to get in touch with Cleveland Police.
