Two officers injured during an incident involving a dog in Thorntree yesterday afternoon, Friday 21st February, have returned to work today.
Thankfully, following hospital checks their injuries were confirmed to be not as serious as first thought. A third officer’s injuries required further treatment.
The 21-year-old man arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault has been released on bail, and the dog will remain in specialist kennels whilst enquiries continue.
