A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted burglary and burglary following reports of incidents in the Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree areas of Stockton on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th January.
A member of the public called police following one of the incidents and officers arrived and arrested a man who was later charged.
He was charged with two counts of burglary, one attempted burglary, three counts of motor vehicle interference and possession of an offensive weapon.
