Detectives are investigating a burglary in which a bank card and cash were taken from an elderly couple’s home in Cavendish Road, Beechwood.
Sometime between around 7pm and 7.45pm on Saturday (25th January) one of the householders disturbed two men in an upstairs bedroom.
The men who were dressed all in black and wearing balaclavas pushed the occupant out of the way, before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Officers from Middlesbrough CID are investigating the incident and would ask anyone with information, doorbell, dashcam or CCTV which could assist their ongoing enquiries to get in touch.
