Police are appealing for information after a 61-year-old man suffered a head injury when he was assaulted outside of The Mermaid pub on Guisborough High Street.
It was reported that the man was punched and pushed to the ground where he hit his head at 11pm on Saturday 28th December.
The man was concussed and had a cut to his head from which he lost a lot of blood. He was taken to James Cook University Hospital by ambulance, where he received treatment for his injuries.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference SE24244219.
