A 17-year-old boy has been charged after a vehicle stop resulted in suspected class A drugs being found in the early hours of yesterday morning (Wednesday 15th January).
Around 2:25am, Matrix officers stopped a Honda Civic using a stinger after a short pursuit in Middlesbrough. The car had made off after officers attempted to stop it on Longlands Road.
Three male occupants were located.
One male was reportedly found to be in possession of bags containing suspected crack cocaine.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested and has now been charged with possession of a class A drug and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court in February.
