Cleveland Police is recruiting for members of an external scrutiny panel which will examine officers’ Use of Force and Stop and Search.
We’re encouraging members of our communities to join the panel to provide independent feedback to our officers and to maintain public confidence.
The panel will be held in various locations around the force so that everyone has the chance to attend. The next panel will take place at Hartlepool Police Station at 6.30pm.
Panel members will be invited to attend a 2 ½ hour long session where unedited Body Worn Video will be shown and feedback provided to the officers, based on the panel’s thoughts.
Upcoming scrutiny panels will take place on the following dates:
17/2/25 – Hartlepool
7/4/25 – Redcar & Cleveland
2/06/25 – Middlesbrough
28/07/25 – Stockton
If you would like to be considered for a place on the panel, please complete the form on the following link: Expression of Interest for External Scrutiny Panels (office.com)
