A 28-year-old man has been charged with a number of driving offences after he was arrested by Matrix officers.
Officers attended the Grove Hill area of Middlesbrough in the early hours of Tuesday 7th January when a vehicle reportedly made off from police.
Following a short pursuit, the vehicle was stopped by officers using a stinger and a man was arrested on Valley Road.
The man has since been charged with dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, failing to stop and no insurance. He was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (8th January).
