A 42-year-old man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court after being charged with theft from a motor vehicle in Loftus.
Police received a report that a car in Springhead Terrace had items stolen from it when it was broken into overnight on Saturday.
Following enquiries by East Cleveland NPT which identified a suspect, their Proactive Team colleagues located and arrested the man yesterday.
He was also arrested for breach of bail, and he was interviewed, charged with theft from motor vehicle and remanded until his court appearance today (Tuesday 7th January).
