Matrix officers arrested two people after responding to a suspicious vehicle that had reportedly been seen driving with substantial damage.
The vehicle was located by officers parked up on Ayresome Grange Road, Middlesbrough, in the early hours of this morning (8th January).
Occupants from the vehicle reportedly made off from police and officers soon arrested two males.
A large amount of drugs, believed to be Class A, was seized from the vehicle along with a small can of which is believed to be pepper spray.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. They both remain in police custody at this time.
