Officers from Matrix seized two more vehicles for no insurance as part of their patrols last night, Friday 10th January.
Officers seized a red Alfa Romeo Giulietta after it was reported that the vehicle had collided with a lamppost on Norwich Road in Middlesbrough. The driver made off prior to police arrival.
Officers seized the vehicle after checks revealed that it was not insured.
Another vehicle was seized on the A19 southbound following a vehicle stop. The grey Nissan Micra was stopped after Matrix officers spotted the car driving erratically.
Following checks on the car and the driver it was established that the driver did not hold any insurance on the vehicle and he was a provisional licence holder only, driving without appropriate supervision.
The driver was reported for summons for driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
