At approximately 12pm on Thursday 9 January officers from Matrix received information of a vehicle suspected of being used to supply drugs.
The car was stopped at Tesco on Durham Lane in Stockton and the occupants spoken too.
While the car was searched and nothing was found, the vehicle was uninsured and therefore seized as part of an ongoing operation codenamed Op Trinity.
The 29-year-old man who was driving the car has been reported for driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance and obstructing police.
