Middlesbrough Proactive Team made three arrests yesterday, Tuesday 21st January, after proactive patrols were carried out in the Marton and Grove Hill areas.
Officers arrested a 33-year-old man in the early hours on suspicion of a number of thefts from motor vehicles after reports of incidents on Marton Road, near to the Premier Inn.
The man was questioned by Middlesbrough CID officers and is currently on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Later in the day, the officers stopped a vehicle on Lambton Road in Grove Hill after suspecting drugs activity taking place.
A 39-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. The woman was additionally arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. Both have now been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
