Middlesbrough neighbourhood officers seized this off-road bike in Keith Road in Saltersgill after seeing it speed by their unmarked vehicle.
As they approached the rider to seize the bike he fled from the scene, but later on police discovered the address where a scooter seen with the seized bike was stored.
Neighbourhoods Inspector Des Horton said: “Officers are out and about day in day out taking action against vehicles which are causing nuisance or which we believe are being used in crime. We do need information from the community however on who is using off-roaders/quads and nuisance vehicles and most importantly where they’re being stored.”
