Police are appealing for information after teenagers have assaulted a 12-year-old boy in Summerhill Park, Hartlepool, before stealing his bike.
The boy was with a friend in the park between 7pm and 7:30pm on Wednesday 18th June, when a teenage boy barged into him, punched him and chased him with a butterfly knife, before taking his bike and riding away.
The teenager was described as 14 or 15 years old, around 5’8” tall, skinny, with brown hair and wearing a light grey tracksuit. He was accompanied by a teenage girl.
Anyone in the park who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference SE25111480.
