Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a slash wound in a reported incident in Stockton.
The incident reportedly took place around 7:15pm on Monday 9th June at the junction of Dovecot Street and Russell Street.
A man suffered injuries after he was reportedly slashed with a blade on his back. The 51-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the scene by ambulance service colleagues.
A 44-year-old man has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent and he appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 11th June.
