A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault in Boro Bar on Albert Road in Middlesbrough at around 10:35pm on Sunday 5th April.
The 39-year-old victim sustained injuries to his eye and cheek when he was punched near to the entrance to the bar.
The 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault on Wednesday 11th June and questioned by officers. He was later released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
