Police in Hartlepool are appealing to trace the driver and any occupants of a black Range Rover which was seen in several areas of the town from around 8.45am today (Friday 7th March).
The car collided with a number of vehicles around the town, and also with a house wall in Raby Road at 8.57am before being driven towards Powlett Road.
There had also been reports of the vehicle being driven around Durham Street on the Headland, just moments prior.
The vehicle has now been located by police and seized, and enquiries are on-going.
We would appeal for anyone with information, doorbell, dashcam or private CTTV footage of this vehicle from this morning to get in touch ASAP.
Please contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number quoting ref 039851.
If you don’t want to speak to police, you can pass information anonymously to www.crimestoppers-uk.org or phone them on 0800 555 111.
