We are appealing for people who were in the Bowesfield Crescent/Surtees Business Park area just before 12.50pm on Tuesday 27th February) to get in touch as enquiries continue into a collision.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested after a van allegedly mounted a kerb, striking a teenage girl who was walking from the Bowesfield Crescent area towards Mount Pleasant Grange just before 12.50pm
Three men came over to check she was ok and offered their assistance after the incident.
We would appeal for them and for witnesses or people with information or cctv/dashcam footage to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 034555.
