Officers in Middlesbrough are appealing for information after receiving concern regarding an unknown woman’s wellbeing.
We were contacted shortly before 10.40am today (Saturday 8th March) with a report that a woman had been seen “slumped” in the rear of what the caller believed was a white BMW saloon. She was sitting next to an Asian man and the vehicle was parked up near the PDSA car park off Acklam Road.
The caller said two men, again described as of Asian appearance, were standing outside the car then they drove away with the woman and other man inside the vehicle.
At this stage we have not received any other reports of any crime or concern for safety matching the circumstances described by the caller however we would urge the woman - who is described as white and possibly in her 20s - to come forward so we can confirm she is safe and well.
Anyone else with information, motorists and passers-by who may have seen the car in the area at that time, or anyone with dashcam footage which could assist is also asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 040619.
