Officers are appealing to trace a woman to check on her welfare after a concerned member of the public called police in connection with an incident in Stockton this morning, Friday 7th March.
Police received a report that a woman had been seen on Londonderry Road, running towards Durham Road around 8am, being followed closely by a silver Vauxhall Vectra estate car.
Around five minutes later the woman and the occupants of the vehicle are reported to have had a verbal altercation on Green Lane.
Officers would like the woman to contact police so that they can check on her welfare. She is described as white, wearing a light pink jumper or fleece and possibly aged in her mid-twenties.
The woman herself or any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number SE25039826.
