Earlier this week, our Crime Prevention Team were out and about in Middlesbrough responding to concerns from the local community.
Crime Prevention Coordinator Ron Baker and PCSO Andrew Knight from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) carried out proactive patrols in the Linthorpe village area of Middlesbrough.
There was a particular focus around Stonehouse Street and local business owners were spoken to and given crime prevention advice.
Whilst on scene, a suspected stolen vehicle was recovered and two other vehicles were identified as having no tax and no insurance.
Plans were also discussed and reviewed for ongoing work in relation to preventing motorbikes and quads causing a nuisance.
Thank you to everyone who engaged with our officers! Many business owners said that they and their customers would greatly benefit from today’s actions and crime prevention advice.
