Man charged in connection with alleged assault in Redcar.

A 32-year-old man arrested by officers who wanted to speak to him regarding an alleged assault in Queen Street in Redcar on 15^th February has been charged with two counts of attempted GBH, affray, possession of a bladed article and a public order offence.

As part of the same enquiries, a 39-year-old woman was also arrested by police on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The man has been remanded in custody, to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Saturday 8^th March.

The woman is also due to appear at court tomorrow.
