A 32-year-old man arrested by officers who wanted to speak to him regarding an alleged assault in Queen Street in Redcar on 15th February has been charged with two counts of attempted GBH, affray, possession of a bladed article and a public order offence.
As part of the same enquiries, a 39-year-old woman was also arrested by police on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The man has been remanded in custody, to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Saturday 8th March.
The woman is also due to appear at court tomorrow.
