Two charged in connection with Hemlington murder

Detectives have charged two men in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Jordan Hogg, who sadly died on Fonteyn Court in Hemlington on Friday 28^th February.

A 43-year-old man has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article, and a 27-year-old man has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Crown Court in the morning, Tuesday 4^th March.

A 17-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody.

A 19-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man arrested over the weekend on suspicion of assisting an offender were released on conditional bail.
