Police called to fire in Guisborough

Shortly after midnight on Sunday 18 May police were called to a block of flats on Northgate following reports of a fire.
One occupant inside a property was evacuated.
A man sustained an injury to his hand and a woman is believed to have suffered smoke inhalation and an injury to her head requiring treatment at hospital.
Enquiries are ongoing and a scene is in place.
