Three men have been arrested in connection with a report of a firearms discharge at a property in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened around 3am on Monday 3rd March on Liverton Avenue, when it was reported that males on a quad bike had discharged a firearm at a house, causing damage to the windows and a door.
No one was injured in the incident.
Enquiries carried out by Middlesbrough CID led to detectives recovering a quad bike at a container on Sotherby Road on Monday evening. They also located a sawn-off shot gun and an off-road bike which were all seized.
Two males aged 21 and 22 were arrested by officers in connection with possession of the firearm.
Both have been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
A third man, aged 22, was arrested late on Wednesday 5th March in the Scotland area. He has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and he remains in custody at this time.
Enquiries are ongoing.
