Appeal for Good Samaritan to Come Forward Following a Robbery in Redcar

Police are appealing to trace a good Samaritan who witnessed a robbery and reported it to police via a public pay phone .....

..... during the early hours of Sunday 17th January at around 1:20am. A 42-year-old man was robbed by another male at the side of Sea Breeze Fish and Chips which runs adjacent to Queen Street in Redcar.

As a result of the incident the victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment for a fracture to his jaw.

The victim had his wallet stolen which contained cash, bank cards and sentimental photographs.

Police are appealing for the man who reported the robbery to re-contact the police as he could assist officers with their enquiries.
